About this tile
The hand-drawn marks in Fossil revisit the patterns of prehistorical imprints left by the grooved shells of extinct ammonites. Moving in different directions, the five randomly mixed surface patterns of each tile break up and overlap just like the signs of time in an archaeological dig.
