For the past eight years she has been focusing on cabinetry and countertop design in the kitchen and bath arena. Heather Scannell - Gresham, OR

Heather Scannell has long been fascinated by the dynamic relationship between people and their environments—the built environment, the natural environment, and especially the areas in which they overlap, which tend to be the most nourishing for human life. Since graduating from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture, Heather has worked exclusively in the residential design/build field as a project designer, project manager, cabinetry specialist, and small-business owner.

Dave Gardener - Hillsboro, OR

Dave has 30 years experience in the cabinet making industry, including 12 years manufacturing and installing countertops in Australia. He moved to Sherwood, OR six years ago and loves it there. He and his wife own an 18-acre horse property just outside of Sherwood on the Tualatin river. When he's not designing kitchens, Dave is fixing fences and helping run his property which has 13 horses, 35 chickens, 3 dogs, 4 cats and endless coyotes. He has been designing cabinet spaces for over 10 years now in the European style back in Australia and designing for four years in America with the traditional and transitional styles.

Heather Young - Portland, OR

Heather joined the remodel industry in 2009 and has been designing cabinets since 2012. With a passion for cabinetry and puzzle solving, Heather works with clients to create beautiful spaces that function with ease. Understanding that every project is unique in scope and budget, her goal is to make your kitchen and bath dreams a reality through developing relationships, education, and listening to your wants and needs. In her free time, Heather loves reading and exploring all that Portland has to offer.

Nancy Duong - Tigard, OR

Portland native and Oregon State graduate with a BS in interior design and an emphasis in kitchens and baths, Nancy has been designing and working in the kitchen and bath industry for over 15 years. Her objective and passion is to create spaces that reflect the client’s personality and lifestyle; designing timeless spaces they will enjoy spending time in. Angie Schierman - Tualatin, OR

Angie has been designing cabinets since 2005 and has worked with over 14 different manufacturers on all types of remodels or new home projects from kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, entertainment centers, etc. that helps give her a diverse knowledge of materials and construction. In addition to having a keen eye for design, she also has the patience to work with her clients at their own pace and to listen to them to help bring out their wishes and needs. Outside of work Angie enjoys spending time with her sister and friends hanging out at the beach, wine tasting, watching Seahawk games, and doing projects on her own house.

Ryan Allen - Everett, WA

Starting in the home improvement industry in 2002, Ryan entered the cabinet design profession in 2012. He possesses extensive product knowledge in the areas of cabinetry, countertops, and appliances. Over years of experience, Ryan has developed a good awareness of the client’s desired aesthetics and the preferred function of their new cabinets. Equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, he has an understanding of human nature to assist with both the pressures of decision making and the art of compromise while still making the process enjoyable. Connecting with customers on a personal level is what makes the field of design so enjoyable for Ryan, which is evident in the satisfaction and confidence his clients have with the level of customer service he provides.

Renee Lopes - Fife, WA

Renee has been in the design and remodeling industry for 21 years so she understands the process (and the stresses) that are associated with it. She enjoys guiding customers through this process whether it’s designing their forever home or updating their current home before selling. Her goal is to bring great design and style ideas to the table to make you fall in love with your new kitchen or bathroom. In her spare time she enjoys wine tasting with her husband and friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Julie Banks - Kent, WA

With beginnings as a designer in commercial and residential architecture, Julie has been creating beautiful and functional spaces for many years. She enjoys working with all styles from traditional to ultra-modern guiding the clients through the development of their dream spaces. She views the design process as a partnership incorporating the client’s ideas and needs with her knowledge and experience resulting in amazing, functional and comfortable spaces. Tim Ritchey - Lacey, WA

Tim Ritchey is a highly experienced kitchen and bath designer with many years in the construction industry and over 30 years in millwork and specifically cabinets. He has a proven track record of success with flips, remodels, high end custom homes, multi-unit / multi-story buildings along with Tennant Improvements (TI’s) and even Medical and ADA compliant jobs. Tim has an in-depth understanding of what it takes to value engineer large projects but also, he understands that this is your home. His goal is to teach you “Cabinet 101” and to help you understand the product, the process, and timeline… Bottom line. Tim understands that it takes the efforts of our team at CFM for all us to be successful, if Tim doesn’t have the answer or solution to your quandary, he knows where to get the help for the expected outcome. Giving back has always been important to Tim, having spent 25 years on the board for a local Northwest non-profit organization. This non-profit was formed to house pregnant or parenting teen moms and evolved into providing transitional housing to help many people to find their way again. Tim enjoys giving back and engaging with the local community by providing value to the people around him.

Danny O'Malley - North Seattle, WA

In 2005, Danny left the financial industry to pursue his true passion for design and construction. He enjoys the process and the varying facets of designing for both new construction and remodeling projects. He also enjoys the variety in working with builders, contractors, designers and homeowners. Danny’s process is to listen to his clients, so that together, they can achieve their design and functionality goals for their kitchen or bath.

Eta Zagorov - Redmond, WA

A Bulgarian native, college graduate with a master of science in architectural engineering from a European University. Eta came to the Pacific NW in 1990 and also graduated from University of Washington- Seattle in 1991. Since 1991 Eta has had a long standing passion for the design & building industry. She has served the industry as a Design consultant, Project Coordinator, Graphic Designer, Cabinet designer for residential and commercial, Project Interior Specialist, and General Contractor. Eta has lost the ability to build due to her hands undergoing many surgeries. She brings 30+ years of experience of knowledge to the CFM table and is ready to help you iron out all the details on your new project!

Karen Singleton - Redmond, WA

Karen started out in the residential remodeling industry 24 years ago and began designing beautiful, and functional kitchens, baths and other home spaces for her clients. She loves the challenge of creating spaces specific to each homeowner’s needs and lifestyle, throwing in a little surprise for them, and seeing their satisfaction in the finished product. Karen loves her family time, her four gorgeous grandchildren, doing renovation projects in her own home, cooking, wine tasting and travel.

Chelsea Jackson - Seattle, WA

Design has been Chelsea’s calling her entire life, ranging from floral design, interior/exterior design and currently cabinet design. She’s been hands-on with the home remodeling process so she knows the rewards and hiccups that come with these types of projects. Jenn Mariano - Seattle, WA

Jenn has been in the home improvement industry since 1998 and specifically as a cabinet designer since 2012. She has a broad understanding of all design types from ultra-modern to classic traditional and enjoys creating designs that speak to her clients taste and personal style. Jenn and her husband love to travel and enjoy hikes in the great northwest with their dog. She also enjoys gardening and interior paining on the weekends.

Jessica Guerrero - Tacoma, WA

Jessica grew up in the remodeling industry and has enjoyed being part of it throughout her entire life. She's passionate about every part of the remodel process from exterior/ interior and project management. She thrives her best when she's able to help every step of the way, treating every project as if it was her own. She started kitchen design in 2018 and quickly realized how wonderful it was to help her clients create their own personal dream space. Tam Granzow - Tacoma, WA

Tam has an extensive design and new construction background with over 20 years in the industry. She loves to cook which helps her create the functionality of a kitchen. She listens to her client’s needs, wants and issues with patience, understanding and knowledge and has the ability to help couples, with opposite design ideas, find that happy medium. She has a Certificate in Kitchen and Bath Design and is currently finishing up her Bachelor’s Degree. Tam lives in a tiny house with her 4-legged little buddy and loves to travel, good wine and Mexican food.

Kate Gailunas - Vancouver, WA

Kate began working as a kitchen and bath designer in 2006, and was certified by the National Kitchen and Bath Association in 2007. For 10 years, she ran her own general contracting firm in Washington and Oregon, a design-build company with an emphasis on green, sustainable materials and construction practices. Kate lives for the moment a homeowner says, “I love my kitchen now!” She helps clients find the kitchen or bath plan that incorporates the latest features & technical improvements, optimizes the ergonomics of the space, provides design aesthetic that works with their home’s architecture, all while working within the client’s budget requirements. Her years of practical field experience make her a contractor’s ally as she keeps her eye on real world installation situations. In her free time, she’s currently wrapping up a complete gut-job remodel of a 125 year old bungalow in North Portland. She enjoys gardening, reading, and swimming.
